Life Diary is designed for respectful, personal memory keeping. Do not upload nudity, sexually explicit or pornographic content, vulgar or obscene imagery, fetish content, or imagery designed for sexual arousal. Content featuring minimal clothing such as bikinis or lingerie is not allowed where sexualized, revealing in a suggestive manner, or adult-oriented in context. If in doubt, do not upload the content.
We also prohibit content that exploits or endangers anyone, depicts minors in sexualized contexts, promotes hate or violence, or violates applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring your uploads comply with these rules. We may remove violating content or entire chains and may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or severe violations.
If you encounter content that violates these rules, please report it via support. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the content and/or notify relevant authorities.

When you create an account, we collect:

- Profile picture (from Google OAuth, optional)

You may upload and store:

- Metadata (file names, sizes, timestamps)

We automatically collect:

- Usage patterns and feature interactions

- Create and maintain your immutable memory chain

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Storage Locations
Your data is stored using:
- MongoDB Atlas: Metadata, chain structure, and user accounts
- Backblaze B2: File content (images, videos, etc.) when cloud storage is selected
- Local Database: File content stored as base64 when local storage is selected
4.2 Security Measures
We implement multiple security measures:
- SHA256 hashing for data integrity verification
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
- Secure authentication via Google OAuth
- Access controls and user isolation
- Regular security audits and updates
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party services (MongoDB, Backblaze, Google) that help us operate our Service

For paid subscriptions, we use Paddle for payment processing. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment information.
6.3 Backblaze B2 Storage
When you choose cloud storage, your files are stored with Backblaze B2. Their privacy policy applies to stored content.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Portability
You have the right to:

- Export your complete memory chain in JSON format
- Download all your uploaded files
- Import previously exported data
7.2 Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will:
- Delete your account and personal information
- Remove all your uploaded content from our servers
- Delete your memory chain data
- Process deletion within 30 days of your request
7.3 Data Correction
You can update your account information and memory content at any time through the Service interface.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
